ICP-OES and ICP-MS Standards

Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICP-OES) and Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) are used to test digestions that are made here at PREMIER. These take the form of lithium borate, sodium peroxide or sodium carbonate, to high-purity acids. This technique is suited for major and minor elements to provide a total material assay.

For this technique, and to replicate lab results performed here at PREMIER, only the best of supplies are available for the high-quality analysis that modern laboratories desire. This includes NIST Traceable standards in single and multielement with method specific types, 2-stop/3-stop peristaltic/ICP tubing made from PVC/PVC Solvent-Resistant, Santoprene, Silicone, or Viton; Torches that are designed for quick and easy replacement made from high quality quartz or ceramic; types A, C and K nebulizers with V-Groove and Burgener options; spray chambers that are single or double pass having Cylonic, Scott and Conical types made from glass, quartz or plastic. In addition, there are quartz, glass, alumina, sapphire, and platinum injectors for non-HF and HF applications.
